Private Jet Anyone?

Cessna, a private jet company, is trying to make a push in these harsh times to undo the damage that has been done when the big 3 automakers where harshly criticized by lawmakers for the lavish entries into Washington last year. Since then big companies dropped their private jets to take this economy modestly or to just avoid criticism as much as possible. Cessna recently introduced a new advertising campaign in hopes of getting their image back.

I can definitely understand why Cessna needs to do this to get its image back to where it was but is right now the most effective time to be doing so? On one hand, companies need to push forward with doing business so I feel for Cessna, but on the other corporate jets are somewhat of a sensitive subject being that lavish spending on unnecessary wants is one reason how the economy got the way it is. Regardless though if a company is going to buy a private jet this time around they better have the need, resources and capabilities to pay for it. One thing is for sure, I will definitely keep up with this story.

Anyway here is an article, which was published in Ad Age on February 11th all about Cessna’s new campaign.
